General Production

Manpower is hiring Production Associates for a leading manufacturing facility in the Grand Rapids area. This hands-on role supports production operations, material handling, quality inspection, and shipping activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate small and large production equipment safely and efficiently
• Assemble and process products according to work instructions and specifications
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform material preparation and material handling duties
• Stage, package, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Assist with general warehouse and production responsibilities as needed
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized condition
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred
• Experience with woodworking, millwork, cabinetry, or building materials is a plus
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measures and rulers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
