Machinist

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Donalsonville, GA

Pay Range: $25-$31

Shift:  6a-4:30p

What's the Job?

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, plans, and work orders to determine job specifications
• Enter, edit, and verify digital instructions/programs into CNC equipment controls
• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) to produce parts to specification
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards
• Troubleshoot machine or program issues and make adjustments as needed

What's Needed?

• Proven experience as a machinist working with both CNC and manual equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Experience setting up and operating CNC controls/programming
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and a strong commitment to quality
