Our client, a manufacturing environment focused on engine and sub-assembly production, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production team supporting engine, sub-assemblies, and kit assembly and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on mechanical mindset, the ability to read and understand blueprints, and a can-do attitude that helps them learn quickly and contribute to quality and productivity.

Job Title: Mechanical Assemblers

Location: Pewaukee, WI

Pay Range: $22

Shift: Shift: M-F, 7:00AM-3:30PM

What's the Job?

  • Learn and follow plant safety requirements while assembling and testing engines, sub-assemblies, and kits using documented procedures.
  • Assemble product according to engineering assembly instructions and drawings to meet Quality requirements.
  • Use hand tools and/or power tools to complete assembly-related tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, escalating issues when needed to protect quality and throughput.
  • Complete inventory and job transactions in the Company MRP system, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to lift and handle 35 lbs. and perform hands-on assembly work in a manufacturing setting.
  • Basic computer knowledge to support MRP transactions and job documentation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with leadership and work effectively with a team.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly (2 years preferred) and/or assembly experience in a sub-assembly or manufacturing environment.
