Our client, a leading packaging and production organization, is seeking a Packaging Line Lead to join their team. As a Line Lead, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the packaging line team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a safety-first mindset, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement—so you can help the line run smoothly from start to finish.
Job Title: Packaging Line Lead
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay Range: $20
Shift: 6:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
What's the Job?
- Lead daily line readiness by managing the sign-in/out sheet, running the daily morning meeting, and coordinating start-of-shift setup activities.
- Set up the line and place employees in assigned positions to begin the shift, ensuring coverage and readiness for production.
- Rotate teams every 2 hours to support balanced workload and consistent line performance.
- Monitor and report line conditions by documenting and reporting damages to Bacardi and reporting quality issues to Bacardi.
- Train new employees, manage a team on the line (15–20 associates), track attendance on the sign-in sheet, and report issues to the production manager or senior lead.
What's Needed?
- Ability to lead and coordinate a team on a packaging line, including placing associates in set positions and managing shift flow.
- Experience supporting production goals by tracking team goals and communicating progress and issues clearly.
- LOTO certification on tape machines (required).
- Strong attention to detail to identify and report damages and quality issues promptly.
- Commitment to safety programs, including consistent participation and follow-through on safety expectations.
