Shop Helper

Ready to jump into a hands-on role where your attention to detail keeps production moving? Our client is seeking a Shop Helper to support daily operations in a fast-paced shop environment. As a Shop Helper, you’ll help prepare parts for processing, keep work areas organized, and support machine operators with general duties as needed. If you’re dependable, safety-focused, and ready to learn, this contract role is a great place to start.

Job Title: Shop Helper

Location: 8001 Imperial Dr. Waco, TX 76712

Pay Range: $15 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

What's the Job?

• Removes and weights chips
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Sets up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing
• Identifies and ensures the correct parts are placed in the designated order
• Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support smooth machine operation

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to operate a forklift and man lift to approved O.S.H.A. standards
• Ability to maintain a safe and organized workstation by following all safety rules and company policies
• Willingness to report problems observed to a supervisor, including storage/placement issues or machine malfunctions
