Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading tile and building materials supplier, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting daily material handling, order fulfillment, and safe inventory movement. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail, and the drive to keep orders and inventory organized so you can help the team deliver materials reliably.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Metairie, LA

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move tile and related materials.
• Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately to ensure correct items and quantities.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting issues as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts to support accurate stock levels.
• Load and unload trucks while following safety procedures, and deliver materials or travel to other locations as needed.

What's Needed?

• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and preparing orders.
• Excellent attendance and reliability, with willingness and ability to travel when needed.
