Welder

Our client is seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join their team. In this role, you will build and assemble metal components and subassemblies. You'll work from blueprints and specifications, operate fabrication equipment, perform MIG welding, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel and sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Fabricate, assemble, fit, and weld metal parts and subassemblies.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including band saws, drill presses, grinders, and air tools.
• Measure, cut, deburr, and prepare materials for welding.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with weld standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist team members and production leaders in meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of welding/fabrication experience, vocational training, or a combination of both.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic math and measuring skills, including fractions.
• Ability to use a computer for timekeeping and production-related tasks.
