Custodian/Facilities Maintenance

Our client is seeking a Custodian/Facilities Maintenance to join their team in Altoona, PA. As a Custodian/Facilities Maintenance, you will be part of the facilities support team, helping keep the environment clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow directions, and a dependable, detail-focused approach that aligns successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Custodian/Facilities Maintenance

Location: Altoona, PA

Pay Range:  $14.42 ($17.37 once hired on)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8pm

What's the Job?

• Perform general custodial and janitorial duties to keep facilities clean and presentable.
• Support basic facilities maintenance to help facilities run smoothly.
• Maintain outdoor grounds, including cutting grass and grounds maintenance.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as needed to keep walkways and areas safe.
• Change light bulbs, move furniture, and help with facility-related projects; operate a forklift within storage areas.

What's Needed?

• Custodial/janitorial experience and/or maintenance experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.
• Friendly, professional attitude with strong attention to detail and motivation to learn.
