Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the steel industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and production departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Elkhart, IN

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move steel products and materials within the warehouse
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs
• Assist with inventory management and documentation

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience
• Experience working with steel is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check (no felonies within the last 7 years)
• Relevant credentials: 100065, 100051, 100046
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
