Job Summary: Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team in Jackson, MS. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess strong warehouse, shipping, receiving, and loading experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
- Load and unload trucks, materials, and products
- Move inventory throughout the warehouse as needed
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work independently and prioritize tasks with limited supervision
Qualifications:
- Current forklift certification required
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Experience with loading and unloading materials
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable attendance and work ethic
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime may be available based on business needs
