Warehouse Laborer

Our client, food distribution is seeking a Warehouse Laborer to join their team. As a Warehouse Laborer, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting day-to-day material handling, order picking, and safe, accurate movement of food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a detail-focused mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment—so you can help keep orders accurate and customers served on time.

Job Title: Warehouse Laborer

Location: Chillicothe, MO

Pay Range: $18

Shift: First shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

What's the Job?

• Manually load and unload freight while following safe handling practices.
• Stack and store merchandise in the correct areas to support efficient warehouse flow.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
• Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation, reporting issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area while promoting safety in all operations.

What's Needed?

• Ability to work independently and stay focused on accuracy and deadlines.
• Ability to work in a cold environment 
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekend and early morning shifts, and occasionally overtime as required.
• Strong attention to detail when labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking items.
• Ability to relate respectfully with coworkers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor.
• Ability to comply with OSHA standards and report hazards to the shift supervisor.
