General Labor

Our client, an industry leader in environmental and construction services, is seeking a dedicated General Labor to join their team. As a General Labor, you will be an essential part of the site operations team supporting erosion control and site maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Labor

Location: Flatwoods, WV

Pay Range: Up to $680

Shift: Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform basic manual labor to install erosion control matting on level ground, slopes, and disturbed soil.
• Prepare ground surfaces to ensure proper installation of erosion control materials.
• Lay and secure erosion control matting using stakes or staples to ensure stability and effectiveness.
• Spread grass seed to promote vegetation growth and soil stabilization.
• Assist with site cleanup and ensure safety guidelines are followed throughout the project.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
