Warehouse Associate Part-Time

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking  Warehouse Associates to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate-Part-Time

Location: Brooklyn, OH

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 5am - 10am; 5 days per week

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders to sales associates for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic
• Complete work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to work a variety of days, including weekends
• Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners is preferred
