Robotics Engineer FANUC Machine Vision

Our client, Industrial Automation is seeking a Robotics Engineer FANUC Machine Vision to join their team. As a Robotics Engineer FANUC Machine Vision, you will be part of the Engineering team supporting Robotics and Machine Vision projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical curiosity, the ability to troubleshoot independently after initial training, and the communication skills to support customers and deliver reliable automation solutions. This is a potentially contract to direct hire position.

Job Title:Robotics Engineer FANUC Machine Vision

Location:Sterling Heights, Michigan

Pay Range: $35-$45/hr DOE plus OT, Benefits, Career Growth 

What's the Job?

• Program, troubleshoot, and support industrial robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with machine vision integration, robotic applications, and automation solutions.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and startup activities at customer facilities.
• Work directly with customers to diagnose issues, provide technical support, and deliver practical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams across robotics, programming, paint, and flexible manufacturing environments.

What's Needed?

• 1-2+ years of experience in robotics, automation, controls, or a related engineering field.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time throughout North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico).
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and asking thoughtful questions to solve problems independently.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with experience working with industrial automation systems.
• Customer-facing communication skills and professional demeanor, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
