Press Operator

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Press Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Press Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Press Operator

Location: Morganton, NC

Pay Range: $17.38/hour

Shift: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)

What's the Job?

• Mold fiberglass parts by resin transfer molding. 
• Assemble parts by operating different equipment
• Place fiberglass into mold - fiberglass preform or cut to size
• Weighs part and identify part with serial number and weight
• Take part off press and smooth edges

What's Needed?

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
