Job Description

Job Summary:

 Responsible for collecting, maintaining and distributing all documentation

related to Quality function

 Verify, accept and scan Material Test Reports

 Scan in Data book documentation for ex: X-ray read sheets, Paint reports,

completed vessel files, completed tanks files, skid/piping document packages,

hydro charts, etc.

 Create databooks for vessels and tanks as needed

 Create name plates for vessels

 Create vessel and tank follower documentation

 Release drawings to shop ensuring they are the latest revision, update as

needed when revisions are made

 Maintain all NDE documentation

 Maintain radiography films and related documentation

 Schedule customer/third party inspections

 Create Non-conformance reports as needed and ensure they are resolved

 Order supplies needed for Quality and shop

 Responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies and guidelines

 Performs other duties or assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills:

 Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel.

 Able to multi-task and manage a heavy and varied workload.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Strong organizational skills.

 Interacts with others in terms of document control functions.

 Responsibilities are of moderate complexity.

 Makes decisions on individual workflow, recommends changes to existing

processes, and develops drafts for onward approval as required.

 Must be able to capable of decision-making within defined role and displays

strong initiative.

Document Control Coordinator - Quality

 Excellent personal interaction skills; outgoing, confident, and strong personal

presentation. Self-starter, willing to learn, seeks out opportunities for career

and personal development.


 High school diploma with a minimum of 1-3 years' experience working in a

similar position.

 Experience working in an ASME certified shop environment.
