Job Description

OSOM (pronounced "awesome") is short for Out of Sight, Out of Mind. We are a new venture, wholly owned by Iron Mountain, focused on developing consumer storage and "stuff management" solutions for consumers.

We're seeking a dynamic sales rep/manager to help build and scale an inbound sales group. You will be the foundational member of the sales team, with player-coach responsibility to take inbound calls and emails to sell our services, and to build and manage a team as needed.

* Exceptional phone skills. Able to speak with clarity, friendliness, and empathy to people from a variety of backgrounds and in a variety of situations (e.g. in the middle of a stressful move)

* Detail oriented, with excellent follow-up skills

* Comfortable with technology (email, live chat, mobile apps). We use Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, Slack, Zendesk, and other web-based tools.

* A plus: enjoy technology and tinkering with apps

Job Responsibilities:

* Connect and engage with prospective clients (consumers) via phone, email, and live chat.

* Determine client needs and offer the right solution. (primarily full-service storage, AKA self-storage with pickup)

* Share customer feedback and insights with marketing and customer support teams

* Develop an effective framework and process for selling our specific services

* Over time, hire, train, and manage a team of sales reps as the business expands.

* Help establish goals and KPIs

* Light technical support - answer questions about our website or mobile app and its features.

* Other related duties as assigned.

Min of 3-5 yrs in a Call Center environment, College degree. ability to think outside the box.
