Job Description

Process and Project Engineers recognize the importance of best manufacturing practices, timely planning and seamless execution of new model and project launches.



We are seeking a qualified Manufacturing Process Engineer to work hand in hand and reporting to the Manager of Equipment Engineering for the purpose of developing and reviewing process plans and equipment installation for new model launches.



JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Work closely with team members to manage the investment of equipment purchases

* Assist in the development of cost reduction and containment initiatives

* Creation of schedules and manage equipment installs to ensure quality of product(s) and effective process efficiencies

* Liaise and work with external contractors for the design and manufacturing of equipment and installation activities

* Work closely on start-up development and analysis of new equipment



KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES YOU BRING TO THE JOB:

* Demonstrated experience reading & interpreting technical drawings & equipment specs (Catia, Enovia, CAD, Unigraphics)

* Enhanced scheduling & reporting abilities, demonstrated proficiency with all MS Office products

* Accountability, Decisiveness, Leadership, Persuasiveness and Negotiation skills

* Proven time-management planning skills to deliver on or ahead of time targets for launch activities

* Skilled in managing multiple projects with shifting time-lines and competing priorities



QUALIFICATIONS YOU OFFER:

* Post-Secondary Engineering Degree/Diploma in a mechanical, electrical or industrial program and/or applied and relevant equivalent experience

* 2 - 4+ years demonstrated Project Management / Process Engineer experience

* A valid passport for international travel, a valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel purposes

* Flexible to work overtime when necessary

* Demonstrated experience compiling, constructing and delivering presentations to multiple level audience

* Advanced communications skills to effectively articulate and present ideas/concepts to core members of a project team (internal departments, upper management, vendors, supplier, customers)
