Job Description

Responsible for ensuring inventory control processes and quality control initiatives are accurately followed and reported. Accountable for analysis and reporting of all pertinent data to manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts process as well as inventory slotting initiatives. Conducts audits, physical inventory, data entry, and report generation. 1st shift, $12.00 an hour.



MAJOR AREAS OF PERFORMANCE:

· Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure Quality fulfillment services

· Coordinates cycle counts as scheduled or as requested by client

· Help with completing physical inventory as scheduled or as requested by client

· Review and analyze daily inventory adjustments and changes

· Assist with reports and analysis of inventory control results and activities

· Analyze inventory metrics and recommend improvements

· Develop, maintain and evaluate databases and queries/reports to support inventory control analysis and reporting

· Assess existing business processes and logic that impacts companywide inventory operations

· Support or adapt existing applications (WMS, Microsoft Office programs) tools and reporting as needed

· Monitor slotting by velocity codes to ensure warehouses are set up accurately and effectively

· Analyze data and audit processes (e.g. returns and inventory movement analysis

· Work with IT to develop and resolve report and system problems.

· Perform projects, analyses and data extractions as assigned.

· Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

· Support and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions. (ISO standards where applicable)

· All other duties as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS) REQUIRED:

· High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

· 2+ years of combined warehouse and inventory control experience

· Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving/analytical skills

· Ability to work independently or in a team environment

· Ability to handles multiple tasks

· Attention to detail, solid judgment and decision making skills

· Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs. solo or greater weights in a team lift

· MS Word and MS Excel experience

· Previous LEAN warehouse, continuous improvement, and/or Six Sigma experience preferred

· Previous Warehouse Management (WMS) experience required
