Job Description

Construction Site Manager

Manpower is currently looking for a Site Manager for different types of construction projects. The manager will serve as the point of contact and interface for employees, subcontractors, suppliers and the customer. The manager will plan, schedule, execute and supervise the on-site work to assure safe & healthy operations, to maintain the project budget and schedule, and facilitate construction methodologies consistent with project construction documents. The manager will perform all the daily, weekly and monthly administrative duties required to execute the work and comply with company policies and procedures. The manager will report to a Project Manager stationed in the corporate office.

Job Requirements:

* Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

* Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in landfill construction.

* Minimum of 5 years in earthwork construction site management and/or project-based work.

* Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel (projects may be in LA, MS, AR, TX, AL,TN, OK).

* Experience with computer laptop and MS Office.

* Skilled and experienced to operate and maintain heavy construction equipment such as dozers, trackhoes, articulated off-road dump trucks, compaction equipment, tractors, etc.

* Familiarity with Trimble survey equipment.

* Skilled and experienced to manage and supervise a diversified construction crew.

* Experienced with construction safety, health, and environmental best management practices.

* Mediates on-site conflict and able to immediately mitigate safety, health, and/or environmental hazards.

* Prepares and submits daily construction reports,

* Schedules, coordinates, executes, and supervises all on-site work of employees, subcontractors and suppliers.

* Schedules, attends and facilitates progress meetings with the customer and the customer's representative.

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation Package:

* Manager will remain on payroll during off time between projects.

* Annual Bonus.

* Company Pick Up Truck w/ company fuel card or $900 per month auto allowance w/ company fuel card. Truck to be used for travel from domicile to the job site and back and while on the job site.

* Per Diem paid weekly at $80/day. Per diem will be paid every day on the job site and on travel day before the start of the next shift after being at home.
