Job Description

Our client in Delta - recognized as one of the most innovative and sustainable companies in the world - is looking for a Service Technician to join their team!

Bringing your experience in a similar role, ability to work outside in various climates, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a physically demanding role and knowledge of the automated door industry, you will be working for first class company.

Job responsibilities:

* Performing service/installation repair work and preventative maintenance as required for Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and other electro/mechanical equipment that may be sold or serviced by the branch

* Maintaining accurate work records, adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log

* Keeping manuals up to date, and maintain company vehicles, tools and other property in accordance with established procedures

The requirements:

* Prior experience in the automated door industry including swinging, sliding and revolving doors would be a definite asset

* Diploma in a related carpentry, electrical, mechanical, industrial field or the equivalent combination of education and related work experience;

* Prior construction experience

* Ability to read basic blueprints

* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

* Good writing skills

* Valid Driver's License

* AAADM Certification would be an asset
