Job Description

An exciting position has risen for a short term Contract administrator at a large pharmaceutical company, in Allegan MI. This position is at their Martin, MI location and would begin in March and last a few months in duration. This would be a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to gain on the job experience. The role provides support to the Sales and Contracting functions for the Generic Rx organization through a variety of duties including maintaining customer pricing and rebate agreements in Vistex and multiple spreadsheets, reviewing and resolving price discrepancies and price adjustments, and coordinating timely set-up and maintenance of customer accounts. The successful candidate would have excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and strong computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel required (Familiarity with VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions preferred.) This vacancy would suit a candidate who is available first shift, Monday-Friday and has a bachelor's degree in a business related field. In this role you would be required to complete the following tasks:

* Review Contract Change Forms and supporting documentation to determine reasonableness of the forms, completeness of the forms and determine the appropriate steps to effectuate each contract change in the system.

* Maintain and update pricing and rebate information in Vistex and other supporting spreadsheets.

* Research pricing discrepancies and requests for price adjustments; process corrections or changes as appropriate; prepare summaries of changes or corrections.

* Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on pricing, contract status or other sales reports as requested by senior management.

* Communicate all contract price information directly to authorized distributors while protecting and preventing disclosure of highly confidential customer pricing data.

To be considered for this role you must have the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast paced environment, good organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with Vistex Contracts, Chargebacks, and Incentives modules would be beneficial. Experience in the prescription pharmaceutical or similar industry, specifically in the area of customer contracts, pricing, chargebacks and rebates strongly preferred.
