Job Description

A Human Resources Executive Assistant / Coordinator is needed long term at a world leading industrial company based in York, PA. This role is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities in support of the Human Resources Director for North America and the North America Human Resources team. Provides confidential administrative and technical support related to a variety of Human Resources functions which may include managing special projects, compiling and analyzing data, coordinating multiple concurrent activities and interacting with individuals and groups at most levels in the organization. The position requires agility, a bias for action, resourcefulness, ability to manage competing priorities as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.


* Assist with special projects (health programs, employee referral program, etc.)

* Administrate employment/personality assessments

* Prepare a wide variety of material, reports and presentations using intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Organize meetings and events, including making travel arrangements.

* Updates website content on Intranet, including maintaining HR's SharePoint site.

* Coordinate Financial Services in resolving issues related to paying invoices

* Coordinate administering Relocation Programs.

* Upload documents to employee electronic employee files.

* Prepare and submit Travel Expense reporting for assigned members of the HR team.

* Service orientation - always looking for way to help others.

* Maintain office equipment and supplies

* Assist the Recruiting Team (requisitions and postings, candidate interviews, booking candidate travel, and processing candidate expense reimbursements, drafting offer letters, sending out new hire packets.)

* With guidance from a recruiter, review resumes, perform phone screens, conduct reference checks and facilitate scheduling of interviews with Hiring Managers.

* Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required.

Qualifications preferred:

* Bachelor's or Masters' degree in human resources or related field

* PHR, SPHR, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)

* 3-10 years of human resource experience

* Ability to keep strict confidentiality / professionalism

* Strong communication / interpersonal skills - ability to work with all levels of personnel, executive support, and work well as part of a team

* Strong computer skills - MS Office, HRIS system

* Pro-active, Ability to multi-task and make critical decisions

* High accuracy / detail oriented
