Job Description

Our Winnipeg based client who is an established multinational company that is known all across Canada is seeking for a Junior Accountant/Accounting Clerk to work in their Real Estate Department on a Temporary Full Time basis for 3 months to start. This position is offering a minimum of 37.5 hours per week and set to commence immediately. The location is in downtown.



Your responsibility is to provide accounting support to numerous team members. You will also perform general ledger input, reconciliations, analysis and other accounting related processes

In order to qualify for this role, it is vital that you:

*Have a minimum of one year of experience in Related Field

Be available Monday through Friday

* Have a clear criminal record or received a pardon for any prior offenses.



Must have qualifications:

* No less than 1-year of accounting experience performing tasks such as:

Posts journal or voucher entries, reconciles accounts, and checks for accuracy. Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers. Follows established procedures and guidelines to perform clerical accounting procedures accurately and on time.



Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook knowledge

* Superior interpersonal and customer service skills

* Superior verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to be flexible organized and manages priorities

* Motivated team player who is also able to work effectively with minimum supervision

* Ability to organize and collate documents, statement and reports by alphanumeric company names/codes.

* Ability to organize and or prioritize workload for normal and peak periods to meet or exceed productivity standards and service level commitments

* Detail orientated, able to recognize any defects/issues as they arise and report.

* Able to work in a stressful and deadline driven environment

* Able to communicate effectively

* Additional duties as may be assigned
