Job Description

Our client, one of Canada's largest membership-based registered charity and a leader in providing emergency medical services is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative with a medical background to join their team.



Summary of Job:

Handle inbound calls to help set-up customer's medical identification and medical profile

Update customer's personal medical records with a high-level of accuracy

Use your active listening and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries

Maintain a high level of customer privacy and confidentiality



Qualifications:

2+ years' experience working in a similar role

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with health records management

A diploma or certificate in the medical field

At least two years' experience in a medical environment, experience in a call center an asset

Excellent communication (written and verbal skills), Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Knowledge of MS Office

Excellent listening, organizational and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to adapt to changing situations

Ability to work independently and part of a team
