Job Description

Manpower is currently recruiting for Business Development Representatives on behalf of our client, a logistics company located in Burlington, ON. This company seeks driven sales and business development professionals to source and manage new business partnerships within North America related to executing freight services. This company offers a highly competitive compensation and commission package, company standard benefits, two weeks of vacation, as well as a business phone and vehicle allowance.



Job Details:

 Competitive compensation - 72K base salary annually.

 Commission structure at 10% - uncapped earning potential.

 Company standard health and dental benefits.

 Two weeks of vacation.

 Business cell phone paid. Vehicle allowance paid.

 8am on-site in Burlington.



Job Duties:

 Independently sourcing leads and managing new partnerships with businesses across North America, to secure agreements to execute company freight and transportation services for domestic and international haul.

 Dialing / cold-calling leads sourced independently (aided by provided Customer Relationship Management and contact search tools).

 Client facing - travelling to client locations to meet with client contacts in order to generate new business and manage client relationships.



Qualifications:

 3+ years of experience working in a high-volume outside sales environment, preferably within logistics, freight, and transportation industries.

 Post-secondary education strongly considered an asset, yet not required.

 Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management tool considered an asset.

 Demonstrated professional communications proficiency, both written and verbal.

 Seeking: outside sales professional capable and motivated to perform a high volume of dials. Comfortable working in a Key Performance Indicator metrics-driven environment.
