Job Description

Our client, a leading Aerospace company, in Mississauga in hiring for Inspector Level 2 to perform final product inspection, perform internal process, product and test audits from time to time to ensure continued quality system integrity.

Job Duties:

* Perform First Article Inspections to validate products are built to drawing requirements; supporting all stages of the Integrated Product Delivery and Support life cycle (product life cycle)

* Perform Customer Source Inspection activities as a representative of the customer.

* Review supplier ATP, CofC, FAI reports and other documentation to ensure compliance

* Complete inspection reports and documentation in accordance to Customer specifications

* Notify supplier and customer of rejections, providing reasons and objective evidence

* Interface directly with suppliers and customers

* Input results into customer online systems

* Drive Aerospace Regulatory and Honeywell Quality standards, requirements, and expectations within the scope of the Quality Control Inspector role.

* Promote continuous improvements and drive Honeywell Operating System (Lean Manufacturing) practices.

* Support Product Line and manufacturing cell rapid problem solving, and Corrective Action Board (CAB).

* This position will have an emphasis on Aerospace electronic inspection to IPC Class 3 and other Honeywell defined requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* Must have at least 3 years experience, within in the last 4 years, in the inspection of aerospace electronics, includes CCA or Printed Circuit BoardPWB for industry specifications such as J-STD-001 and IPC 610.

Additional Qualifications:

* Quality assurance experience is preferred on aircraft or field related work

* Ability to read, understand and interpret blue prints/ drawings and other technical documents that describe the requirements and applicable criteria.

* Ability to use most inspection tools, measuring and test equipment.

* Ability to read and understand policies, procedures and processes.

* Strong computer skills - knowledgeable and efficient with Microsoft Windows and enterprise software.

* Up to date Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace CCAA training in Air Regulations, or Human Factors


* Hands on work ethic

* Greenbelt Certified

* Proficient computer skills

* Ability to work independently

* Knowledge of six sigma tools

* Ability to partner with others on projects

* Understanding of quality processes
