Are you an order picker or kit puller looking for a position in Winnipeg? Do you want to work within an exciting industry? Are you able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment? We are currently hiring Order Picker (Certified Forklift) starts end of June 2019.



Manpower is currently seeking a reliable Order Picker (Certified Forklift) to help maintain warehouse stock and assist in fulfilling orders. Our Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing request from clients. Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed to operate a forklift, available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year and able to lift up to minimum 75 pounds at a time.

In order to qualify for this role, it is vital that you:



* High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preference will be given working in a Warehouse Preferred

* Fall Arrest Certification and Forklift certification is an advantage.

* Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 75 pounds.

* Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.

* Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

* Experience Working With an RF Scanner Preferred

* Keen Attention to Detail , Ability to Lift Heavy Objects, Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time

* Positive Attitude, Self-Motivated, Health Safety Conscious, Good Communication Skills

* Ability to Work in a Fast Paced, Busy Environment

* Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at Times

* Able to pass a Background check

* Able to Start June 2019



Essential Functions



* Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area.

* Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

* Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Completes reports by entering required information.

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
