The Grant Support Specialist role located in Northbrook, IL will support my client's Foundation's grant-making operations by responding to grant inquiries and helping process grants to nonprofits around the nation.

You will be expected to:

* Assist agency force and nonprofits with grant processing issues.

* Assist internal stakeholders with grant status inquiries and group project setup.

* Send weekly and monthly email reminders to group project leaders and nonprofits.

* Create mail merge grant agreements and final reports and uploading merged documents into grant-making system.

* Support the Foundation Team with scheduling monthly team meetings and other administrative tasks.

* Open, distribute and/or responding to postal mail.

* Manage inventory of Foundation supplies in Northbrook storage space.

* Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills; ability to work with diverse individuals and stakeholders.

* Possess keen attention to details. Must be comfortable reading and reviewing numbers.

* Organize and streamline projects to work quickly and accurately.

* Work well under deadline pressure and prioritize work as needed.

* Learn functioning of grant-making software that tracks charitable contributions for the client and its Foundation.

* Use Microsoft suite of products, particularly Word and Excel.

* Mail merge complex spreadsheet into easy-to-read Word documents.
